Dannielle Boyns's Story
This August we are hoping to have a fundraiser event so that we can bring awareness to the ultra rare genetic condition that is Champ1.
We first heard about Champ1 a couple years ago and started the process of research and asking our consultant to refer Darcie to genetics as the symptoms matched. In November 2023 Darcie was diagnosed making her one of the now 160 people worldwide to have this. She is also the only one in the North West.
We are wanting to spread awareness and knowledge and help raise funds for Champ1 UK so that more research can be funded.
